My friend and I decided to go to RDFL on Olive Dr. here in Bakersfield to do some shopping. I'm 66 years old with a disability which makes it very difficult to walk/stand.
I was appalled at the way we were treated before we were allowed into the shopping area. They had the outside entrance blocked with barriers which forced us to walk single file into the store. Once we were inside, the same barriers continued including a barrier across the area to gain access to the store. When my friend inquired, the man standing by the barrier said “You have to wait” as he stared at a large monitor overhead. My friend asked, “Are you taking our pictures?” He finally responded with “Yes”. I was not as polite as my friend and said “This is BS I'm not putting up with this” His response was “This is my job”. The automatic doors only open one way so we couldn't walk back out and had to wait until he decided to remove the barrier. Needless to say, we left the store immediately without spending a dime!

I will never step foot into Ross Dress For Less again!!

I think that Ross as a whole is pretty good, however recently I bought a dress from the brand Maison Tara, I tried it on once in the store and when I bought it and tried to wear it the next time, it tore and now has a big hole. It is even a little big for me and I can see some other spots that seem like they are about to rip. I'm not too happy about this and I hope that they will be a little more careful when looking over the rest of their stock.

I went to the Ross in Knightdale, NC, and had a great experience. Lots of great finds! The young lady at the register ( I believe her name was Gabby) had great customer service skills. She was a very bright young lady as well as quick to checkout customers. It was definitely a 10/10 experience!

I went in to buy a perfume and I found a juicy couture one. For 20$ thinking it was a nice size perfume and I get home and open it and it was so tiny of a bottle that will finish in couple sprays. I was so mad to put a 20$ on a small $#*! bottle of this perfume NEVER AGAIN SHOP HERE FOR PERFUMES. ROSS is a rip off a complete rip off pricy for nothing. Lesson learned.

I recently had an exceptional experience shopping at Ross! The store was clean, organized, and had a wide selection of items at great prices. But what really stood out to me was the excellent customer service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and assisted in finding exactly what I needed. The staff was knowledgeable about the products and even helped me save some money with a coupon. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received at Ross and will definitely be returning for my future shopping needs. Thank you, Ross, for providing such a wonderful shopping experience!

I like this store. Lots of nice clothes. But the customer service is horrid.
They have a terrible checkout system with 1 line for buying and 1 line for returns. Yet many buyers enter the shorter Returns line to check out faster. On Feb 12, the only register open was for returns. The closed register beside it had a sign hanging over it saying, “This checkout to be open at all times for customers with disabilities.” I took a photo of the closed register and sign.

I think Larry is amazing the way he communicates with his staff as well as his customers. Denise always polite and helpful and takes pride in the store appearance.
It's one of the neatest, cleanest stores I have been in.
I met Amy at the check out register and she was extremely polite and quick and made lines go faster by her details and knowledge of her area and her personality was awesome. In talking to the employees in conversation they all mentioned they loved their management staff and working for Ross Stores. I can see why. Larry and the PM manager I forgot her name were so calm and wonderful. I would want to work for them too.
I go every year to florida January and May and Ross is the first store on my list to visit.

Had to return a gift yesterday and found out that as soon as you purchase something with your Debit card at Ross they withdraw the money before you even exit the store like most places. Returning the item you used your debit card to buy is a totally different story. " It will take 3-5 business days and since it's the weekend even longer for you " Funny all the other stores I returned things at using the same Debit card offered me CASH! The manager at Ross could care less as a matter of fact she walked up shaking her head no and things just went downhill from there. I have a funny feeling she hasn't heard of the words customer service nor does she comprehend the concept! Lesson Lear's either use cash when shopping at Ross or better yet skip shopping at Ross!

My son was employed at the Ross at Grossmont here in San Diego. He stopped working for them after his breaks and lunch became an issue. Basically the manager didn't want him taking his allotted breaks and lunch.
He discussed this with me and we agreed he should look for employment elsewhere.
The manager is holding my sons last check from him. It's been two weeks. I am trying to let my son handle. He wants to be responsible. A responsible manager would have paid the young man for his service and then be done with this issue. Now I'm putting it on social media. Beware of employers practices at the Ross in San Diego CA. I came to make a return today, December 28, some clothes that my family gave me as a Christmas gift and it turns out that for not bringing a receipt they returned me $49 cents per item, when the prices were between 12.99 and 24.99 it is a total trash! In this store I will let my family know who gave me the gifts so that they never buy here again and without a doubt I will make a video on my youtube channel letting everyone know about the cheat they do! Horrible experience that no one should go through!

The store was very busy today in Lake Jackson and one of the cashiers named Perla was working really hard to take care of us in a line of seven people including me. Even though she said she only had 1 hour to go in her shift she still greeted each of us with a smile and greeting. She took care of us efficiently and so nice of her to ask if I wanted my clothes and shoes in separate bags? Which I did! Now my cute new clothes won't have snags. What a beautiful soul she is! It's the little things that make shopping at our local Ross so enjoyable 😍 Please take care of your employees like Perla so they can continue to take care of us🤗

I use to Love Shopping at Ross but there availability and low Stock on things has changed. The Management is horrible. They have very long lines and usually only 1 maybe 2 Cashiers. Stores are Dirty. They also hardly have Pre teen Girl size clothes.

The store was an utter mess. I had to leave there was merchandise all over the floors. I almost tripped and twisted my ankle.

Tried to return it back to store, Ross would not refund it with reciept, Ross must not understand profit and loss in retail. This was not right. My last shopping experience with Ross. They suck, guess they needed my 30.00 more than I did

I went to buy a stool that was on special I really like it so I asked the manager for help she told me the boy in the front would help me she ran off before I can answer her she was very rude so I ask the boy to help me and he refused. So I dragged the stool to the cashier and it was the manager I told her the boy never help me and it started in argument she talked to me like she own the place she didn't want to give me her name but you can't miss her dirty blonde long wive with lashes so long she can fly away she really looks like a man dressed like a woman very tall and the lazy boy looks like a Mexican girl. They are unprofessional and very rude. Sad part about it they will have to see me whenever I go there and they will have to see me again so later days trannie with the long lashes since she didn't want to give me her name and she kept screaming at me as I walked away. Bad name for Ross. Good luck with your other costumers
